Hello,

I have DNIwebot and WP downloaded, but I can't find my zip file with the res_mods and the other folder.  Where do we download those from?

Thanks,
DMan

Is not entirely clear what you need

helpmeplease

I have the DNiwebot and Warpack, but I need the files for the mods that go in c:\World_Of_Tanks\res_mods

These are the files for Warpack add on, like the laser tracers, remove trees, etc.

Thanks,

If you install Warpack, that adds the Warpack folder.  DNiwebot does the same, but the additional interface modifications need to be placed in the World_Of_Tanks\RES_MODS or \World_Of_Tanks\RES folders.

I have an earlier install that had these files.  If I want to re-install, I only have the BOT working, not the warpack mods.

You do not need to place anything into res_mods for warpack to work, and warpack does not have any 'add-ons' that are dsitributed as standalone mods. All the Warpack mods are downloaded automatically from the Warpack servers every time you start the game with Warpack. You can see what mods you have enabled or disabled in the settings menu that is available by pressing the warpack button in the upper left hand corner of the hangar window. If you do not have that button, try pressing ctrl+alt+shift+w, that combination is used to hide the button for screenshots and such. If that doesn't help, than you installed warpack incorrectly, uninstall it completely using the system interface, download the current copy from warpack.net -> My Keys and install it.

OK,

I have done exactly what you said.

However, I have NEVER had Warpack and the BOT working at the same time.

I get one or the other:  Either I get Warpack with no bot, and I installed some files into the res and res_mod folder a few months back, maybe version 2.2.1?  This is the only way I can make Warpack work.

And on my 2nd computer, I installed fresh, but only the BOT works.  I don't have Warpack.  I press CONTROL-ALT-SHIFT-W, the Warpack icon never shows up.  IF I copy my World_Of_Tanks folder to the 2nd PC, Warpack will work, but not the BOT.

I have purchased 2 license keys, one for each PC.

So, with a fresh Windows 7 install, a fresh world of tanks install, and a fresh DNIwebot and Warpack install, it does not work.  I can repeat this and it will be the same.  If I copy over the \res_mods and \res folders, Warpack will work, but not the BOT.

I installed to C:\World_Of_Tanks, I do not use the default path of c:\games.

Wait, I am confused by what exactly are you trying to achieve. Warpack and DNIWEbot are separate items that do not work in congruence. I have never actually used the bot, but as far as I know from other threads here, it includes a built-in set of features that are similar to Warpack (like the ability to target moving tanks), but it does not rely on Warpack and does not interact with it in any manner. So I am not sure why you would want to run both at the same time.

As far as Warpack itself goes, installing it only creates one directory: Warpack, and that directory can be placed anywhere on the computer and contains a preference file, an executable and a .dll that is responsible for the injection. It does not create any mod folders and it does not rely on any other mod folders or any contents of res_mods. Therefore, copying res_mods from another computer should not impact it in any manner, unless you've installed Warpack into that folder, which I actually would not recommend as the game client has the ability to scan that folder for contents.

Now, as to what I think may be happening for you:
A while ago you porbably downloaded and placed in your res_mods a few of the mods available as standalone files that provide some of the Warpack functionality. Examples are minimap that shows destroyed objects, a mod that turns off leaves, and laser pointers, etc. These mods are not components of warpack, they are not distributed by warpack creators, and they theoretically provide less protection from a possibility of getting banned. So what you may see 'working' when you transfer your res_mods are those standalone mods, not warpack. As far as your warpack install goes, you got a clean copy from the keys section at Warpack.net and your key is currently valid, right? You are launching the game with the warpack launcher, no the built-in one, right? And you do not see any injection errors or authorization errors reported by warpack's small window during log on, right? If you answered yes to all three of those, I suggest you get in touch with the devs using the 'send message' button on warpack.net. This forum is monitored, but english language support is somewhat limited.

WOW!

Based on what you said, I just used Warpack WITHOUT launching DNIwebot first, and it worked.  Then, I launched the BOT without Warpack loading WoT, and that also worked.

I never knew any of this.  I thought BOTH programs had to be run together.

This will make things work alot better.  I have been doing things with memory so that the programs did not cause each other to crash, like launching in separate memory spaces, assigning AFFINITY to each CPU core for each processes/thread, etc.  All of this was not necessary, now that I know you launch one or the other.

TY VM, I think things just got alot better for me.

NP. The bot is not made by the guys who make WP, it's just a little bonus added on to WP subscription. Other than being distributed on one site, they do not require one another whatsoever. Best of luck with WP, be careful with the bot, and make sure you got those 'warpack' files out of the res_mods folders if you suspect they are standalone forbidden mods.
