Hello there!

Sadly what is missinh on here is a comprehensive overview how to use the different aim modes, espacially Achilles, properly.
I want to kindly ask you to offer us an overview in English when Achilles is to be used best and when Vanga, what the different fuctions can actually do.

Also there are several issues with thode aim modes, it would be nice to get some explanation how to work around it, e.g.:

- Vanga: Seems to sometimes aim at weird spots, like tracks (tries a tracking shot) but it does that from like 350-400m which basically leads to a missed shot many times or critical hits at best. Even normal autoaim would do better in those situations.

- Achilles: does this even work properly when the enemy tank is moving or only for stationary targets? It seems to do a bad job at leading targets when they move.

In the name of many non-russian customers I would like you to put up a manual or a comprehensive thread here on the forums to make those things more transparent for us.

Thank you in advance!

Hi! Vanga and Achilles are 2 auto rifle scopes, but based on different principles of working. Achilles chooses a point to hit from the statistical base of the punches.
   Automatic rifle scope Vanga- This is an intelligent auto rifle scope which substitute the standard (primitive) auto rifle scope.
This automatic rifle scope works in the arcade, sniper and artillery modes. It can acquire a target beyond line of sight (behind the walls, hideouts and terrain) and at the same time it illuminates the contour of the target (the x-ray). It does not aim in the center of the tank, it aims in the most vulnerable (weak) points on the hull or caterpillars. The sight takes into account the velocity vectors of the target moving and the time of flight of the projectile and sets the marker with these factors in mind for shooting proactively.
The mod has the following features:
1.   The searching of vulnerable points:
   It works only when the target is standing still.
   The mod tries to find the point with the minimum armor at a good angle.
2.   The ignoring of caterpillars:
   It works only when the target is standing still.
   It excludes the caterpillars from the list of vulnerable points.
3.   The frequency of the counting:
   It works only for moving targets.
   The faster the target is moving the more it is necessary to calculate the prefetch.
The best option settings of «Automatic rifle scope Vanga»:
   The searching of vulnerable points: disabled (in principle-it's upon the request).
   The frequency of the counting is 10.

This mod requires the availability of high quality broadband access to the Internet. If there is bad/poor connection speed to the Internet the blunders will be present!
The key/button of the target acquiring (Automatic rifle scope) of the mod should be different from similar keys/buttons specified in the game settings (by default right mouse button)!

Thank you for the repspone so far!

So you are saying Achilles is programmed but static, so mainly focussing whaterv is known to be weak. Does it mean Achilles can't also lead targets? There are so many option that can be adjusted in the menu but without clear description it is hard to figure out, what that does.

And when it comes to Vanga:
Point 1 is clear to me. So that means even on 400m it will try to hit the cuppola instead of aiming at the hull, just because cuppola is weaker. That often leads to missed shots. Can you confirm that? Is there a way to adjust Vanga that it only aims at weak spots when it is REALLY necessary? Often the side shot or hull shot would me more likely to hit.

"Ignore caterpillars" doesn't exist for me. Only Ignore chassis. But that doesn't help when it comes to Vanga wanting to shooot the tracks all the time, often resulting in zero damage shots instead of killing the enemey. Which means the autoaim becomes pretty useless. Any idea to work around that?

Best regards and thank you in advance.

Pardon? Disabling "searching vulnerable points" just lead my last round to 16 shots, 3 hits and 0 dmg, I was 3rd highest tank...
Same as the right mouse click - I am logging the enemy at Achilles and Vanga only with right mouse click (=the same key as WoT uses for autoaim) and it works fine.

Achilles can lead targets. But vanga does it somewhat better, still.

There is a hotkey to disable weak spots aiming in battle. (default Q)

That's translation problems. He've meant chassis.
