How to stop the bot from running into walls?

I would like to make the bot take the "open" paths and stay away from buildings and obstructions. How do I achieve this in plain english? I want to force a certain path.

You wont find much help other than download the latest maps which I am SURE you have already. I have done extensive testing and adjustments using all the bot settings and doesnt seem to make a difference when it comes to pathing problems. Remember they are not the developers of the bot here. The following maps have pathing problems for sure. Swamp, Ensk, Winter Himmelsdorf, Himmelsdorf, Kharkov, Mountain Pass. These maps for sure have issues. The problem is when the bot hits an obstacle it will back up and turn 30 degrees then turn back to the exact same spot and run into the same stationary object. My advice if your using this on an account your interested in keeping you better monitor the bot. When someone sees you hit the wall or rock and continue to try to go through it they will immediately tell everyone in chat your a bot and to report you. I witnessed this first hand in several tier 3 battles. I immediately responded in chat that I was not a bot but a crappy driver who was drunk.

I have found no way to change pathing of the bot ... even using the CNTRL P option. As far as the developers. Pretty sure it is a stripped down version of WotBot. You will find no help there though and I would think it has the same pathing problems.

Thank you for the detailed well informed reply. This is exactly what I experienced and the Cntrl+p doesn't help at all. I have the latest maps/waypoints and it made no difference in performance... I wish it did. Are there no community ran map modifications or tweaks to waypoints that we can use over here? Do you guys just deal with getting banned? Surely not, so what do you do on the Russian board about this KNOWN issue. HOW are we fixing this!?

Even if it had the option to cannot get then skip to the next by going around or if I could look at the coords then adjust them slightly and test because the bot hangs up on the same hill/ building consistently. I just want the bot to go around the outskirts and "snipe" because the auto-lock/pre-aim/auto-fire is actually pretty good and slightly better than a human player in most circumstances.

Do anyone know a site for the actual developers? Seems very suspect to have a way of contacting them when it's a "paid subscription".

How do I open the .wp2 file extension because notepad or normal means doesn't work? Trying to see if it's possible to modify or change the path within the file itself.

They may have used WotBot by tankleader as a base for their basic bot but in every way this bot (although has problems) is better. I've used both and can confirm this and that other one is easy to spot and I don't recommend it. If anything it feels like the WotBot is a knock off copy of this bot to be honest.
